Prom 2014

Let me start by saying this was so much fun. When Michaela contacted me to take pictures of their prom group I got so excited. I graduated high school 10 years ago, so anything prom related is a distant memory for me! The girls looked so beautiful and what a handsome young man! They were all a blast and so easy to work with. They had me tempted to run home and grab an old formal dress and tag along with them for the night.

Cunningham Family: Family Session

I have had the privilege of photographing this amazing family multiple times now. Not only are they all so photogenic, but their kids are so cute and sweet. They are actually the first family I ever photographed (besides immediate family or friends).  I am so grateful for this family for being so patient with me as I learned and allowing me to work with them over and over. You rock Cunningham fam!

Jill Maternity

Jill is one of the most beautiful pregnant people I've ever met. She will be having her third little girl next month and this is the second pregnancy I've been able to capture for her. Our official maternity shoot isn't until later this month, but when it started snowing a few weeks ago I knew we had to get some pictures in it! I contacted Jill and with in 30 minutes I met her and her whole family in a field not far from our homes. This was such a quick and fun photo shoot that turned out better than I could have dreamed. I can't wait until our other maternity shoot and newborn pictures when little miss arrives!

Lisa and Amir: Engagement Session

Lisa and Amir are two of my absolute closest friends, and I was so overjoyed and excited when they finally got engaged in December of 2012. Lisa and I had done a lot of talking about photo ideas, and both agreed pictures on the lake were a must! We patiently waited for the right time of year to do their pictures. We decided September of 2013 was the perfect time. Everything surrounding the lake was still so green and it wasn't melt you to the bones hot! I love the way they love on each other so naturally. They are two of the most in love people you'll ever meet and so easy to photograph. With their wedding only a few months away now (eeeekk so exciting!) I thought their session should be one of my first on the blog.

Allen & Melissa: Engagement Session

Last month I had the pleasure of taking engagement pictures of Allen and Melissa before the crazy snow and ice shut down Georgia! I am also lucky enough to be able to call them good friends. They're getting married this July and I couldn't be more excited for them! Allen is a big goofball and Melissa is one of the sweetest people I know.  Melissa picked the property she grew up on for our photo shoot location. Even though the pond was still frozen over preventing us from taking the boat out, the location couldn't have been more perfect for their campfire themed session. S'mores anyone?!
